Job summary
This role will have responsibility for the development and support of business applications, working with suppliers and other IT colleagues to ensure robust provision is in place. In this role you will lead and direct a small team of Application Engineers to create a customer focussed service for colleagues in the UK and globally.
You will work with the Service Delivery Manager to implement the technology vision and strategy for business applications. You will drive a culture that is responsive and focusses on continuous improvement.
You will also be responsible for supporting a consistent approach to vendor management of IT suppliers across the organisation in partnership with colleagues in procurement.
You will ensure that the organisation understands the role of the team and what it has delivered by delivering appropriate monitoring and reporting.
